Description: The County of Kings is seeking a qualified physician to serve as Medical Director for its Behavioral Health Department’s Mental Health Plan and Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System. The assignment includes up to 20 hours per week on-site in Hanford, with the remaining work performed remotely under HIPAA-compliant security requirements. Responsibilities include overseeing medication services, providing clinical consultation and case review, maintaining regulatory compliance, and participating in committees; the initial contract term is two years with an optional two-year extension.
